Improvement

Better public sharing
Sharing your presentations with the world just
got easier. Before, when making a presentation
public, you'd have to copy a link from the Share
dialog so others could see your work.
Now, if you're using the web app, you can also
grab the URL in your browser. When you share
this link with people outside of your workspace,
they'll be redirected to the public access view.

Improvement

Renamed Library tab
We've taken the Library tab in the right-hand
panel and updated the name to Templates. Now
nding, browsing, and using pre-installed or
newly created presentation templates should be
clear and easy.

Bug Fixes

🧹We won't ask you to re-tidy your already tidied blocks.

We've done some tidying of our own. From now on, the Smart Tidy wand
will only appear if the selected blocks can be tidied. Previously it would
appear even when content was already perfectly aligned.

🔠 Resetting default text styles will override any inline styling.

Changing the text style (e.g., converting a headline to a subheadline) or
clicking Reset to Default will reset the text block to match the active
presentation style and will remove any inline styling.

↖ Fixed text selection in Chrome, Firefox, and the desktop app.

Using the cursor to select a section of text within a text box wasn't working as
expected. When dragging the cursor outside the box, it would stop selecting
new text. With this x, you can continue dragging to select text when your
cursor goes outside the box.

Bug Fixes

🖼 Unnecessary background image options have been removed.

We've simpli ed the right-hand panel options for background images, so
fewer users will be tempted to add rounded corners and drop shadows to
images that stretch across the entire canvas.
↑ Big arrows will keep distinctive points.
Increasing the width of arrows caused the arrowhead to blur into the rest of
the shape. Now you can con dently use big arrows to point out items on
your slide.

📧 Cursor in email input

eld won't jump.

Typos happen to the best of us. If you need to correct an email address while
sharing a presentation, you can move the cursor to the right part of the email
input eld without the cursor jumping to the end.

Bug Fixes

✂ Logos will not be cropped when resized.

Users pointed out that scaling down logos — even when the aspect ratio was
locked — would result in the image being partially cropped on some screen
sizes. With this x, any new image dragged onto the canvas will not be
inadvertently cropped when resized.
