We've given our tables a makeover, so you can
make them as beautiful as everything else in
your slides.

You can now choose the color of your table
borders, or turn them off entirely. We've also
updated the default width of borders to be
slightly thinner.

Improvement

Fewer sync failures
From now on, we won't show a Failed to
sync alert unless there's an actual issue syncing
the content in your presentation.
That means that when you're working of ine,
you won't see an alert. Once you're back online,
your presentations should sync and show the
most recent updates.

We want to help you and your team move faster
in Pitch. That's why we're always working on
performance improvements behind the scenes.
This week we enabled progressive rendering for
slide previews. Opening the presentation editor
should be faster than ever.

Bug Fixes

🖼 Images added while working of ine won't disappear after restarting.

One of the best reasons to use our desktop app (besides tabs!) is that it offers
the ability to work of ine. Before, images you added while of ine weren't
staying put. If you restarted the app, the images would be lost until you went
back online. From now on, images added while of ine will show up and stay in
place, of ine and online.

🔗 Public presentations will show the correct preview.

If you share a link to a public presentation, you should see the link unfurl to
display the title and a preview of the cover slide. We xed a bug that caused
the preview image to appear cut off. If you don't see this change immediately,
make a quick update to your cover slide to make sure the preview
regenerates.
Table selection frames will match the table dimensions.
Resizing table height would sometimes lead to the selection frame being a
different size from its table. Now, they'll always have the same dimensions.

Bug Fixes

👯 Only one swap icon will show at a time.

You should only see the swap icon when you select a block that's actually
eligible for Smart Swapping. Due to a bug, the swap icon would appear even
when that wasn't the case. We xed that and a few other small swapping bugs.

📖 Synced presentations can be successfully re-opened while of ine.

After going of ine and restarting the desktop app, some presentations were
no longer accessible. They were either uneditable or would trigger
a Presentation not found error. Now, synced presentations should open as
expected while of ine.

🔤 Pressing Shift while selecting text range works again.

When working in a text block, you should be able to press Shift on your
keyboard and use your mouse to select part of the text. This temporarily
stopped working, but is now xed.

Bug Fixes

🛠 Tooltips for active presentation reviewers will always appear.

When working on a presentation with others, you should see their user
avatars in the top right of your editor. Hovering over each avatar will reveal a
tooltip with their name. Recently, it would appear brie y and disappear right
away, or not show for every user. While we love a bit of mystery and intrigue,
we know it's essential to know who you're collaborating with. Now, tooltips
will remain visible while hovering over an avatar.
