NEW FEATURE

Get notified when you're offline
Our desktop app is made to support of ine work. You can view
and edit presentations, and your changes will sync once you're
back online.
We've added a status indicator so that you always know when
you're working of ine. When you disconnect, you'll see a cloud
icon appear in the top left of your dashboard and editor. If you
see this message unexpectedly, we've included links to view our
status page and contact support to see what's happening.

Jump to a slide to work
with others
Get on the same page, literally and
guratively.
If you're working on a slide with others,
you can click on their user avatar, located
in the top right of your editor, and
instantly jump to the slide they're
working on. Now, collaborating on a slide
or following along during a remote
presentation is easier than ever.

IMPROVEMENT

Control letter spacing
for text in shapes
We're making text in shapes more
customizable.
Double-click on a shape to add text, enter
your text, and the right-hand panel will
update to show your shape- and textediting options. With today's update,
you'll see a new option for letter spacing.
Just drag the slider to adjust the distance
between letters.

IMPROVEMENT

Duplicated
presentation styles are
easier to track
The fastest way to create a new
presentation style is to start with one of
ours.
Many users will duplicate a presentation
style and start editing it to match their
brand. Now it's easier to see which
presentation style is the original, and
which is the duplicate. Instead of marking
duplicate presentations with a subtle
asterisk, we'll now add "Copy of" to the
start of the style name.

IMPROVEMENT

Workspace icons will
look the same
everywhere
Workspace owners can set an eyecatching icon for a workspace. If you
haven't set one, your default workspace
icon will be the rst letter of your
workspace on a bright background.
Now, that bright background will be
consistent throughout the app. So if you
use the quick menu (or keyboard
shortcut G) to switch between
workspaces, the icons will look exactly
like they do in your workspace switcher.

IMPROVEMENT

Always see the correct
cursor in the dashboard
Your dashboard provides an overview of
what your company is working on.
Private and workspace folders can be
customized to represent projects, teams
— anything, really. But some folders —
like Home and Templates— can't be
renamed.
This improvement helps eliminate any
confusion on what is and isn't editable. If
you single-click and hover over one of
these permanent folder names, we'll
continue to show a default cursor instead
of a text caret.

BUG FIXES

🤝 Fixed a slew of small bugs around sharing.

At the start of the month, we began retiring personal workspaces and introduced guest
workspaces This change resulted in some small bugs around sharing and accepting invitations to
collaborate, amongst other small hiccups. Good news: That's xed now. Go forth and share with
con dence.

🛠 Swapped out the Smart Swapping tooltip.

Here's a tongue twister to start your week. We quickly swapped out the Quick Swap tooltip for
Smart Swapping and replaced it with a smarter and simpler option: Swap.
