NEW FEATURE

Retiring personal workspaces
In the coming weeks, your personal workspace will be going away.
Why is this change happening?
Personal workspaces offered a way to create in private or work with
collaborators outside of your shared workspace. With the introduction of
private folders and guest workspaces, personal workspaces are no longer
necessary.
What's changing?
After today, you won't be able to create presentations in your personal
workspace. (But don't worry, you can still view, edit, and share any existing
ones!) We encourage you to move any presentations over to a shared
workspace. Once you've removed all presentations, your personal
workspace will vanish — poof.

NEW FEATURE

Faster image picker
This is one of those mission-critical updates: We've successfully
reduced the number of clicks it takes to search for and select
the perfect image or GIF.
Click on the image icon in your editor toolbar to open our
updated image picker, which puts search front and center.
Enter a search or click Upload image to add an image to your
slide.
Pro tip:
Want to adjust the dimensions of an image? Expand Layout in
the right-hand panel to lock or unlock the aspect ratio, change
the width or height, and more!

NEW FEATURE

Cycle between chart types
If you're the non-committal type, you'll appreciate this update.
Now you can change the layout of any chart with the click of a
button.
After you add a chart, you'll see a new section in the right-hand
panel called Chart type. Click on the bar, pie, or line chart icons
to change the chart on your slide.

NEW FEATURE

Added font palette in style builder
A few weeks ago, we made it easier to centralize and manage
the colors used in your presentation styles. Now we're bringing
that same power to fonts.
Open the style builder, and you'll see a new section called Style
fonts. This will display all fonts used in your current style.
Hover over a font to see where it's being used.
Feeling indecisive? Choose a new font and see it update
everywhere.

Web app users can now open presentations in a new tab. Just

IMPROVEMENT

Better-looking charts
Data is beautiful. And now you have
more beautiful ways to present your data
in Pitch. Click on a chart, and you'll see
these new options:
Line chart
• Smooth lines
• Dashed grid lines
Bar chart
• Dashed grid lines
Pie chart
• Padding
• Rounded corners

IMPROVEMENT

No more accidental deletions
Since the start of our beta in August, only one user has
reported accidentally deleting a presentation, which is
amazing! But one is one too many. (Sorry about that, Mehdi!)
Now, before you delete a presentation, you'll be asked to
con rm that you want to remove it. (Don't worry, in case you
still accidentally delete a presentation, we can help restore it.)

IMPROVEMENT

Clearer error sync
messages
We're making sync errors more
actionable.
From now on, if Pitch has trouble syncing
your activity, you'll see a new error
message that includes a code. Share that
code with customer support, and we'll be
able to get to the bottom of your speci c
issue faster than ever.

BUG FIXES

↺ Deleting presentations won't lead to in nite error loops.
Deleting a presentation in one client — like the web app — while having it open in another client,
would result in an endless loop of alerts. Now, you should only receive one alert that kindly lets
you know you can no longer access the deleted presentation.

🛠 Slider tooltips will render correctly in Safari.

If you were adjusting a presentation style in Safari, you might have noticed that the tooltips for
settings like line spacing and letter spacing looked ... interesting. We've xed the underlying bug,
so you can see and understand the exact values of any settings you've adjusted.

🎨Workspace styles will be available from private folders.

Did you know that you can publish a presentation style to your workspace? This ensures your
brand styles are available to use, no matter what presentation you're working on. Previously,
workspace styles didn't show up if you were working on a presentation in a private folder. And
now they do!
