New Feature

Share links to folders
Sometimes you want your team to review a
speci c presentation. Other times, you want
them to check out all your fantastic work. For
those occasions, sharing a link to a folder is the
easiest way to go.
Now, if you right-click on a folder, you'll see an
option to copy a link. Share this link with any
current workspace members, and it will take
them to the correct folder.

Improvement

A single share link
Eagle-eyed Pitch users may have noticed that
the presentation link in your browser was
slightly different than the one produced by the
Share button. Now, they're one in the same.
A couple important reminders about link sharing:
• Links to presentations in your workspace folders are
accessible to all workspace members.

• Links to presentations in your private folders are
accessible to you and people you've invited.

• Links to public presentations can be opened by anyone.
If you want to collaborate with someone who
has a different email domain, they'll need a Pitch
account. Please contact [support@pitch.com](mailto:support@pitch.com).

Improvement

Apply styles from the quick
menu
Now you can change the styling of your slides
without touching your mouse.
From the editor, type Opt + T or Alt + T to bring
up a list of the presentation styles associated
with your current presentation and switch to the
one you'd like to apply.
To explore everything the quick menu offers,
type ⌘ + K or Ctrl + K .

Improvement

Better block borders
We're not joking when we say we sweat the
details at Pitch. For weeks, we've hosted an
internal debate on the optimal way to display
the bounding box around text. Some were Team
No Border; others were Team Padding; for a
while Team Right-Corner Border was winning.
We're happy to share that we've now settled on
full border with reduced opacity so that you can
always see your text cursor. Give it a try and let
us know what you think.

Bug Fixes

🤫 Slide statuses won't appear in public presentations.

Slide statuses help your team know which slides are ready to present and
which need a bit more work. We've xed a bug that was displaying the slide
statuses of public presentations. Now the status of any slide is something only
you and your team will know.

💥 The app won't crash when exiting presenter mode.

Who doesn't like a bit of drama when nishing a presentation? We're all for
ourish, but there are probably better ways to go about it than crashing the
app. (Doves, maybe?) You can now safely exit presenter mode when
presenting on the web. Sorry about that.

🖼 Switching slides should be noticeably faster.

We're using a more reliable technique to preload images on the desktop and
web apps. As a result, switching between slides with images is smoother while
viewing content online or of ine.

Bug Fixes

🎨 Images with lots of colors should appear picture-perfect.

Before, images with a high number of colors in their pro le — like images with
gradients or 3D illustrations — would have some color banding issues. You can
imagine how frustrating this was for a company that produces lots of 3D
illustrations! We've xed the underlying bug, so your images will look as
brilliant as the rest of your work.

👁 The color of the eye icon for view-only presentations is now correct.

View-only presentations have an eye icon (eyecon?) that appears in desktop
app tabs. It should appear grey when the tab is active, and white when you're
working in a different tab. For a while, it was always grey, but now it should
display as expected.

🏃 Quick menu will close when switching from dashboard to editor.

Before, if you brought up the quick menu while editing a presentation, and
then moved to your dashboard, the quick menu would stay open. Now it will
close.

Bug Fixes

🕴 We've disabled third-party embeds to prevent clickjacking attacks.

Your security is our top priority. We've temporarily disabled embedding Pitch
presentations in third-party apps as a proactive measure against clickjacking
attacks. Secure embedding will be available in the future — hang tight.

🖼 Added restrictions to prevent broken images in presentations.

We've taken a couple of steps to reduce instances of broken images appearing
in your presentations. From now on, you won't be able to insert third-party
image URLs or data URIs into Pitch. If you try to add an image protected
by CORS, you'll see an error message.
