NEW FEATURE

Guest workspaces
Pitch is great for company-wide collaboration. But sometimes
you need to work in a small group or with someone outside
your company. Today's changes make it easier to keep track of
presentations that are shared speci cally with you.
Instead of going into your personal workspace, shared
presentations will now end up in one of two places.
• Any presentations shared with you by someone from
outside your workspace will now show up in a guest
workspace. Guest workspaces will have a small blue badge,
so they're easy to spot.
• If someone from your workspace shares a presentation from
their private folder with you, it will now appear in
your shared space, which is right below your default private
folder.

IMPROVEMENT

Better presentation
syncing
We're continuing to track down and
remove any hiccups with presentation
syncing in Pitch. Next up, we plan to make
sync error noti cations more actionable
and offer an of ine indicator, so it's clear
if your presentation is synced and up to
date.

IMPROVEMENT

Updated tooltips
Our smart formatting tooltips are back in
tip-top shape.
Now, Smart Swapping and Smart Tidying
tooltips match the rest of the app.

IMPROVEMENT

Faster PDF exports
Exporting a presentation as a PDF should be blazing fast.
In order to improve the speed and reliability of our exports, we
had to introduce some (hopefully temporary) limitations. Right
now, image effects like lters, blur effects, and drop-shadows
will not export with the rest of your presentation.
Our engineers are currently investigating how we can make
PDF exports fast and a perfect representation of your
presentation. Stay tuned for more on this.

BUG FIXES

🗂 Tabs containing a deleted presentation will automatically close.

Before, if you opened a presentation in the desktop app and deleted it from the web app, the
desktop tab would stay open, but trigger an error. Now, the tab will close on its own.

🛠 Workspace tooltips will always show the correct titles.

If you hover over your workspace icons, you should see a helpful tooltip with the full name and
numerical shortcut. For a brief period, the tooltip names were mixed up, but now they're back to
normal.

💥 Quickly switching tabs won't crash the app.

Sometimes, switching tabs in the desktop app would result in a not-so-jolly "Huh Hoh!" error
message. Now, toggling between tabs should work perfectly.

🌈 The play button in the editor will always be purple.

Not every bug x is some fantastic technological feat. Sometimes it's just about double-checking
the background colors in the codebase.

BUG FIXES

📓Changes to a presentation name will show up right away.

You can name — or rename — a presentation from the Pitch dashboard. Recently, there was a bug
that caused the former name to brie y ash before showing the new title. Now, it'll show the new
name immediately.

🤝We'll only ask you to re-consent once.

We recently changed our terms of use. So when users logged back in to Pitch, we redirected them
to a screen asking them to accept our updated terms. Consent is really important, but our
approach may have been a tad overzealous, as a few of you saw this screen multiple times.
Whoops! Next time we update our terms, you should only see this screen once.
