Working with shortcuts in Pitch can unlock
tremendous speed. However, we know it can be
tough to establish new habits.
To reduce the learning curve, we've added a
quick menu button to the editor toolbar — it's
the lightning bolt up top. Click it to open up the
quick menu and explore all the ways you can
move faster in Pitch.

Once you get more comfortable with shortcuts,
you can use ⌘ + K or Ctrl + K to open the
quick menu from your editor or the dashboard.

Improvement

A more powerful style builder
Users appreciate the exibility of our style
builder, but one thing we hear is that you want
more ways to customize the look and feel of
your slides. Now you can:

See all active colors in your style
Set background gradients for your slides
Customize link and bullet point colors
Set default colors for text in shapes
Click elements in the preview pane to open
editing options

Improvement

Better PDF exports

BETTER
PDF exports

We're continuing to improve the performance
and reliability of our PDF exports.
This week we made an update that allows for
longer processing time so that you can export
super big presentations without any issues.

Improvement

Tab titles will stay in sync
If you're the ultimate Pitch Multitasker™ —
working in multiple presentations from multiple
workspaces at the same time, you'll be pleased
by this update. Titles in your desktop app tabs
will now always display the right info.

Updated template management
We’re making your Templates folder easier to
work with!
From now on, templates will be view-only when
rst opened to prevent accidental edits. If you
want to make changes, click Edit template. Be
sure to Publish any changes to your workspace.
If you’d like to create a new presentation from a
template, click Use template.

Bug Fixes

💬 Messenger icon will not show in presenter mode.

When entering presenter mode, the messenger icon in the bottom right
would stay visible, instead of going away. This release xes the issue. When
you are ready to chat with our support team, the messenger icon will still be
available in the dashboard and editor.

🔄 Desktop app won't show persistent sync error after sleep mode.

Users who tried to exit presenter mode after letting their computer enter
sleep mode would end up with a "Failed to sync" noti cation that wouldn't go
away. Now, the alert will disappear right after the presentation syncs.

📥 Email links to mentions will expand the comment thread.

When someone responds to a comment and mentions you, you'll receive an
email immediately. Clicking the link will now take you to an expanded
comment thread, so you can quickly catch up on the conversation.

Bug Fixes

🏃 User avatars won't mistakenly follow you across presentations.

Real-time collaboration is one of the best parts of Pitch — you can always see
who's viewing the same presentation. Due to a bug, switching tabs wouldn't
update your active viewers right away, making it look like the same people
were viewing a different presentation. We've xed this, so you'll only see the
right active viewers for any presentation.
