New Feature

A new URL for Pitch!
We've transitioned to a more user-friendly URL
for Pitch. From now on, you can access us at
[https://app.pitch.com](https://app.pitch.com/).

New Feature

Desktop app is easier to access
As part of our Limited Preview, we're
encouraging users to explore Pitch across both
web and desktop apps.
If you haven't downloaded our desktop app yet,
you can now access the Mac or Windows
version straight from the web. Once installed,
you can switch from web to desktop app with
ease.

Improvement

Tabs have a new look
We've been hard at work polishing the Pitch UI.
As a result, the tab bar has gotten a little
touchup and is now consistent across our Mac
and Windows experiences.

Our Windows app has received
a makeover
Windows users, rejoice! Pitch on Windows is
now just as beautiful as the Mac OS version. If
Steve Ballmer saw this, he would jump (and
jump, and jump) for joy.

Pitch View now the default for
view-only collaborators
View-only collaborators will see shared
presentations in Pitch View, a special mode that
allows users to review and discuss slide content,
but not make edits.

slide selection
Slide Selection: 10X

FASTER!

Every millisecond matters in modern software.
Switching from one slide to the next should now
feel blazing fast. With our latest release,
switching takes only 34 milliseconds — down
from 372 milliseconds. Wow!

Links in summary emails go
directly to web app
Clicking through comment links in your
summary emails is now a smoother experience.
When opening a comment link, you'll be taken
straight to the web app.

Small improvements
with big impact

✨

A few tiny (but no less signi cant) updates:
• Updated text and icons for the presentation sorter
• Proper alignment across the workspace member table
• New placeholder image and copy for empty
comments
• Improved treatment of long email addresses when
sharing presentations with non-workspace users

Bug Fixes

Styles now only affect the active presentation template
Updating presentation styles was adversely affecting templates. No more!
The "New Presentation" modal will now display the correct template styles.
Also, changing styles for an existing template will only affect the current
presentation.
Public links now take collaborator access into account
Workspace members entering a presentation through a public link will enter
the presentation in Pitch Editor. Non-workspace members will enter in Pitch
View.
You can escape from this deck
But why would you want to?! Kidding, of course. We xed a bug that occurred
when hitting the escape key to exit our Weekly Release presentation.

Bug Fixes

Get an at-a-glance view of slide assignments
When reviewing presentations in Pitch View, you should now see the assignee
for any slide. To display this information, make sure you've expanded the slide
navigator on the left.
Move through Pitch View with ease
Thanks to this x, you can now use your left mouse button to select the next
slide in Pitch View.
Text input elds were a little jumpy, but they've calmed down
Renaming folders and presentations caused text input elds to jump. We've
squashed that bug. Input elds should now stay perfectly in place.

Bug Fixes

We won't encourage you to open the desktop app ... from the desktop app
Whoops! Links opened in the desktop app were accompanied by a dialog
window giving them the option to open the link in their desktop application.
This update corrects the redundancy.

We want Pitch to be as beautiful as it is useful. That's why we spent some extra time polishing up the Pitch UI for our very first users. Updates include:

- An easier way to download our desktop app
- A makeover for our Windows app
- Improved summary emails
