We'll be honest: When we determined Fifth Avenue Cleaners to be the best dry cleaner in town, price was a big consideration. It's not as if we ever spilled red wine on our mother's white-suede mini-suit, á la Cindy Mancini in Can't Buy Me Love; we're just trying to get last night's bar smoke out of our favorite tweed skirt. And of all the places we've tried -- cheap and expensive, top quality and, um, non-quality -- this little Wornall hot spot does the trick. It requires cash payment upon delivery, not pickup, but each item costs only $1.75. We've never had anything lost or ruined here, and neither has anyone we know.
