Last week, the Ohio rapper and producer showed his appreciation for George Clinton-era backdrops with Blueprint vs. Funkadelic. "I had been collecting records for a long time but wasn't as familiar with them as I was with Parliament until recently, when my uncle gave me his collection," Blueprint tells The Pitch. "After hearing one of their records, I immediately made a beat out of one of the songs and wrote the lyrics that same day."
